About the Role
CasaLavoro Limited is seeking an experienced and highly creative Head Architect to lead the architectural design direction of our major real estate and development projects.
This is a senior-level role for an architect with a strong portfolio of exceptional designs and proven experience working on significant, high-quality architectural projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating concepts into outstanding architectural designs while ensuring functionality, aesthetics, quality, and compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the architectural design process for major CasaLavoro real estate and development projects.
Develop innovative, functional, and visually outstanding architectural concepts and designs.
Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, presentations, and design documentation.
Translate project briefs and client requirements into high-quality architectural solutions.
Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction stages.
Review and approve architectural drawings and design submissions.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Construction, Quantity Surveyors, Site Engineers, Interior Designers, Consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical and creative direction to the architectural team.
Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building regulations, planning requirements, codes, and industry standards.
Visit project sites where necessary to ensure that design intent is properly implemented.
Review construction progress and identify any deviations from approved architectural designs.
Coordinate with consultants and external professionals involved in project design and delivery.
Provide creative solutions to complex architectural and construction challenges.
Research current architectural trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and other members of the design team.
Represent the Company professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all architectural deliverables meet CasaLavoro's expected standards of quality and excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
Professional registration with ARCON is highly preferred.
8–12+ years of relevant architectural experience, preferably within real estate, property development, construction, or a related environment.
Proven experience leading or contributing to major architectural projects.
A strong and impressive portfolio demonstrating exceptional architectural design capability is essential.
Demonstrated experience taking projects from concept design through construction documentation and implementation.
Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, building materials, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in architectural design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and project management skills.
Strong creative and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation
